Starting with the logo, the aim was to create a fresh visual feel that reflects the rural feel of the Cotswolds. This led us to choose an iconic acorn as the starting symbol, with the top half manipulated into a house shape which alludes to the holiday homes and their natural surroundings. When it came to the website, the challenge was to create a sympathetic setting for a ‘product’ which is naturally visual. Having beautiful images of the picture postcard Cotswolds and its gorgeous holiday properties inspired us to create a contemporary, unfussy design that does not detract from the real stars of the show, backed up by some fascinating blogs about things to do and places to go in the Cotswolds written by our in-house copywriters. Attractive brochures for customers and a Lettings Guide for property owners were also designed to showcase the Cotswolds in all their natural glory. Job done it seems as the launch garnered an enthusiastic response and bookings immediately began to pour in using the website’s cutting-edge e-bookings tool.
