With the best part of twenty years recruitment experience in the Swindon and Wiltshire area, Nicola York’s reputation is based upon her consultative approach, focusing upon building long-term relationships with both candidates and clients alike.
Nicola has recruited for a wide range of clients over the last two decades including large corporate organisations and SME businesses locally, with a specialist focus on jobs in finance.
A significant part of Nicola York Recruitment’s remit is working with clients recruiting for senior positions. For that reason, they wanted branding and a website with a more premium feel than their old positioning.
This particular job was a very collaborative process (the kind we like at Jazzbones!); Nicola had a very clear vision of what she wanted and we were able to realize that vision.
In this case, the client fully understood the value of a strong brand identity - our job was to help Nicola define her brand in a way that would help Nicola York stand out from the competition in what is a very competitive recruitment market.
The final choice of a new logo features a hand; hands being associated with aspiration, authority, creation, safety and trust. The underlying message is that Nicola York is a safe pair of hands, whether you are a candidate or an employer.
Once we had fine-tuned the new visual identity with a bold, new colour palette, we moved on to rolling it out across a brand-new website and other media in a way that will optimize Nicola York’s business, reputation and ultimately, profits.
Nicola says: “I had a clear vision of what I wanted and Jazzbones not only ran with that but enhanced it in every possible way. As a small business owner, being able to access such creative knowledge and attention to detail is a huge positive.”
