Jazzbones have created a wonderfully effective range of marketing and advertising comms assets for Miele, world leading manufacturers of premium domestic appliances. But in terms of results, the ‘Wunderbar!’ campaign has been exceptionally Wundervoll. And yes, the Germans really do have two words for wonderful!

When Miele decided to offer its customers a free 10-year warranty on selected washing machines, including parts and call-outs, our brief was to create a campaign that reflected the premium nature of the German multinational’s products while also focusing on the game-changing nature of that decade-long warranty.

The resulting creative delivered on both scores by combining bold typography and impactful product imagery with a quirky twist on the Miele brand. Repeat ads in the weekend supplements of the quality press were the focal point of a highly successful integrated campaign which also included trade advertising, in-store POS, and online advertising. In a word, Wunderbar!

From full-page, full-colour ads in The Daily Telegraph and The Sunday Times to vehicle wraps on London taxis, the Wunderbar! campaign has attracted attention – and stopped the traffic - wherever it has been deployed. A 20% increase in washing machine sales in the first week alone was testament to its pulling power. And this campaign has legs, still generating sales a year after its launch.
