The Home Finders’ project was the kind of wide-ranging, deadline-driven project that Jazzbones loves to tackle.
After 10 years under the Richard James umbrella, the Home Finders’ team decided to go back to their roots and relaunch as an independent, customer-driven, boutique Lettings Agency.
With a large property portfolio to manage from day one, there would be no honeymoon period to knock the new brand identity into shape. Home Finders’ needed to hit the ground running from day one of their relaunch as their clients, especially the landlords, needed a loud and clear message that behind the scenes it was business as usual.
Luckily, Jazzbones had worked with Sue Gidney and Home Finders in the past which meant we were aware of their brand and ethos and what an award-winning lettings team brings to the table compared to the competition. Our challenge this time was to create a brand identity that was reassuringly familiar but also fresh.
‘Making you feel home’ is the key message we developed, with homely, welcoming images to match using a warm but subtle colour palette of dark blue, mustard and greys. The classy looking logo incorporates the outline of a roof into the letter ‘H’ while the main font for headers is an ornate Berlingske Serif Stencil. The mobile responsive website was developed in super quick time but no corners were cut in terms of producing a handsome and classy digital calling card that integrates industry leading lttings and property management software, backed by intensive use of social media around the launch.
Other assets developed include digital ads for property portals, leaflets, signage and business stationery. Our photography team were busy capturing images of the team and Home Finders’ plush new office in Old Town, while we also produced video footage introducing different members of the team. Home Finders have also become platform sponsors of the Jazzbones’ produced property website and magazine Wigwam, which will help them get their new brand identity and message out to their targeted audience in Swindon and the surrounding area.
“It was a big ask to get so much done so quickly,” says Sue Gidney, Managing Director of Home Finders. “Basically, we were asking for a comprehensive branding and comms strategy delivered quickly to meet our launch deadline. To their credit, Nathan is a star and his team have not only responded to every request but have been proactive all through the process. A big thanks all round.”
