This pandemic blighted year has seen Swindon’s homeless charity Threshold experience an unprecedented call on the services it provides to support the homeless, and yet at the same time it has been unable to conduct the fundraising events it would ordinarily undertake to raise the critical funds needed to support the charity’s activities. Jazzbones are committed to supporting the local community and not-for-profit organisations through pro-bono advice, design and digital solutions, so we were delighted to step in at short notice to create Threshold’s latest campaign.
We supported Threshold by designing fundraising event materials including digital invites, large format banners that are placed on the world famous Magic Roundabout and a two minute plus animation with a voice-over to launch the campaign. On Friday, 11 December, Threshold will host their first ever ‘Supporting the Homeless Bubbles’ event and are inviting the public to join in by registering their own ‘support bubble’ to participate from work or home.
The team at Threshold are doing a great job to raise awareness of homelessness in Swindon at a time when most of us are starting to think about Christmas and family. We need to take five to think of those who don’t have that family support around them and even though Jazzbones were super busy, we didn’t hesitate to support Threshold.
