Imagine Cruising STFC Social Campaign
After working closely with Jazzbones Creative on a series of successful branding and marketing campaigns, the Imagine team know that we are agile enough to respond swiftly to the most urgent brief.
As sponsors of Swindon Town, Imagine Cruising are already closely associated with their local football club thanks to a sponsorship deal which is promoted extensively on the team’s shirts, banners and promotions on the club website, and advertising hoardings around the County Ground stadium.
When Swindon’s swashbuckling young team reached the League One Play-Off final against Preston at Wembley, we were charged with designing, planning and implementing a Social Media campaign in a matter of days. In football parlance, it was a case of creating quick chances before a tactical masterclass and winning result! Swindon may be a League One side, but our bold designs using a simple gold background and striking images of star players Jon Obika and Michael Smith were worthy of the Premier League.
In the build-up to the final a competition to win 2 VIP tickets was the focus of #JustImagine on Twitter, Facebook, the Imagine website and a promotional emailer. On the day, the Swindon players took to the field wearing shirts featuring the Imagine Cruising logo and lined-up for the pre-match presentations alongside a massive Imagine banner, fabulous exposure for the cruise company given that the match was broadcast live to the nation on Sky Sports.
